Support Jumpstart Day So Every Child Can Play!

 Jumpstart Day will be held on May 26^th from 10 – 4 p.m. at Canadian Tire.  Money raised this day helps to remove children from the sideline and get them involved with sports programs.  Jumpstart is a program that awards children in need up to $300 for sports registration fees and equipment.  Jumpstart Day will have an abundance of activities such as a car wash, BBQ, and a Big Bounce activity centre.

Register today for an exciting new adventure event taking place in our community on Saturday, June 2nd, 2012 - Capital One Race for Kids, Presenting Wetaskiwin Sponsor, the Flaman Group of Companies.

The Capital One Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada Race for Kids is  a new urban adventure taking place across Canada that lets adult teams of 5 relive the best of childhood times, and share a memorable bonding experience with your team as you chalellenge your skills in 10 Checkpoints around the community.   Teams are given a set amount of time to complete the event, and at the end a post event Celebration BBQ with food, entertainment and prizes takes place.
