Donate Now through CanadaHelps.org Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wetaskiwin was established over 25 years ago in 1981 as a much-needed service to Wetaskiwin and area children, youth and families. As part of the national Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada program, the organization is housed in the Wetaskiwin Youth Centre, along with the Boys and Girls Club of Wetaskiwin to run more cost effectively. Under the direction of a local volunteer Board of Directors, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wetaskiwin is responsible for all its own fundraising but follows program and service delivery set out by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada to match adults and children in quality mentoring relationships.
