After School Programs

The Boys and Girls Club offers a variety of fun, safe and interactive programs during the after school hours for children and youth 6 - 17 years of age. For more information please check out our Program Guide for each term. (Fall, Winter and Spring)

Leadership Development:

 We have two leadership groups that focus on 5 core elements; service to club, and community, teamwork, healthy choices, leadership and learning.

- Keystone Club: Ages 14 - 18 years. Hours: 4:00 pm. - 5:00 pm. Wednesdays. (October 3, 2012 - May 2013)

- Torch Club: Ages 10 - 13 years. Hours: 4:00 pm. - 5:00 pm. Thursdays. (October 4, 2012 - May 2013)

Other Programs:

Native Friendship Club: Ages 6 - 17 years. Hours: 5:00 pm. - 6:00 pm. Mondays. (October 2, 2012 - May 2013) This program provides opportunities for children to participate in a program that is specifically designed to explore and experience the native culture, traditions and spirituality.

Young Chef's: Ages 9 - 14 years. Hours: 4:00 pm. - 5:30 pm. Tuesdays.  (October 2 - November 27, 2012)  Youth will learn basic culinary skills while reading receipes and working in a team atmosphere. The program also encourages healthy eating and to help to understand food groups and serving sizes.

Assets in Youth:

The program assists youth in developing skills to reduce personal stress and problems they may be experiencing. An outreach component is implemented in order to address and reduce youth related issues within the community and to connect with youth in their natural environments.
