Rogers Raising the Grade provides youth with enhanced supports and diverse learning opportunities to excel academically. The program will consist of the Rogers Technology Centre which provides support through homework help, a Personal Development Plan, and post-secondary scholarships.
• help youth graduate from high-school and pursue a post-secondary program of their choice.
• work with youth to figure out their interests, goals, and abilities that could lead them to a career.
• provide youth with the skills, tools, and opportunities to be productive, independent, and contributing members of society
• assist youth in creating a Personal Development Plan (PDP).
• work with youth in collaboration with their family, school, and community.
• use online educational resources.
• use volunteer mentors to assist youth in following their PDP.
• be encouraged to graduate from high school.
• gain insight about their personal interests and how to pursue them.
• be encouraged to obtain adequate grades and credits for the post-secondary program of their choice.
• have access to the Rogers Technology Centre.
