Family Support Program

What is the Family Support Program?

The Family Support Program matches qualified service providers to families and youth who have been referred by Child and Family Services, family, and/or other agencies.

Services include:

A Family Support Worker will assist the family through a variety of interventions to achieve family goals such as; parenting, problem solving, and life skills, as well as connecting with appropriate community resources.

A Youth Worker will assist youth in developing skills such as self-confidence, life strategies, communication, and positive behaviours through recreation, socialization, and community awareness.

A Visit Supervisor will ensure that a safe and supportive environment is maintained in order to facilitate family visits.
